Born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and spending some years growing up in Osage County's cattle country, it wasn't rare to hear mention of Bob Wills, Johnny Gimble, and the Texas Playboys.   Although their music hit the scene many years ago, his grandpa couldn't wait to introduce it all to him.  Grandpa Tom, a very talented man himself,  began to pave the way by sharing his love for Western Swing music.   At the age of 10, Chase confirmed his interest in music by enrolling in the school orchestra program.  He wanted to learn to play the violin.  In a matter of hours, Chase had learned "Faded Love" for his grandpa.  It was then that they discovered his talent for playing the fiddle by ear.

Not too long after that, there was another music icon that entered the picture and made a lasting impression on Chase.  This was legendary artist, Charlie Daniels, who happened to be performing in Ponca City, Oklahoma, one night.  Looking for that first autograph, Chase got the chance to go to the Green Room to meet Charlie and have his fiddle signed.  Charlie said, “Son, I’ll be happy to sign it, but first you have to play something for me.”  Chase did not hesitate.  As he pulled out his bow, Charlie hushed the room to silence.  He began to play that familiar tune, “Faded Love”.  The room was quiet until he finished the last note.  Suddenly, loud applause and cheer came from Charlie and the others.

Since then, Chase performs every chance he gets.  He now plays several instruments and has established quite the musical repertoire.  Chase is a recent high school graduate and has been accepted to Belmont  University's School of Music in Nashville, Tennessee.  There he plans to major in Commercial Music with a principle in Vocal Performance.  While attending college, he also hopes to make a name for himself in the Nashville music scene.

To this day, every opportunity and experience has played an amazing role in his musical journey.  He is very excited to see where this journey will take him next!
